Choosing your kitten

There are several ways that you may choose your kitten, either in person or by photo over the internet.

For you to choose your kitten in person, you will need to wait until they are at least 5 weeks of age to come and view them, sometimes this can be later depending on the stage that the kittens are at. We do this for several reasons. Firstly the kittens are still too tiny to be viewed and we don't like taking strangers into our home where mum and her kittens are, as she may feel threatened and she needs to be able to look after her babies and do the best job she can with as little distraction and stress as possible. Secondly, they change so much and until they get that little bit older around the 5 to 6 week age, it's very hard to tell what they will look like and what their personalities are.

For some people they know exactly what colour and sex that they want their new kitten to be, so choosing their new family member is easy for them. Some people also live too far away to come and visit in person and it is then that many decide to choose via photo's instead of in person, or over the phone.

In either situation you want to choose your kitten, we will provide you with as much information as possible to ensure that you make the decision that is the right one for you and your family.

Once you have chosen and decided on your kitten:

When you have chosen your kitten, to secure your new family member you will need to leave a non~refundable deposit of $150. Until the money has been received, the kitten will still be considered available for sale. It is unfortunate that we have to work it this way, but due to years of breeding and being told "Please hold the kitten for me as I will definately pay you" and then never following through, it has ruined it for all of the honest people out there.

Once you have left your deposit and received confirmation that you have secured your new kitten, you will then be updated on thier progress during the time until he/she is ready to come to you, including weekly updated photo's.

 Pick Up Time:

We let our kittens go to thier new homes when they are ready. This is usually around 12 weeks of age, never any earlier than 10 weeks old. There are many benifits to this for you as well as the kitten. If they go to their new homes too early, they dont learn as much from thier mothers or their brothers and sisters. Some people say " but I want them when they are still little and are cute and still at the kitten stage" but they still are very much so at 12 weeks of age. You would notice a massive difference even in temperment to a kitten leaving thier mum at 6 to 8 weeks as apposed to 10 to 12 weeks. They are more confident and will adjust a lot better to their new home with their new families. It is always stressfull for the kittens to leave home, but the better adjusted they are here means the better adjusted they are for life!

Payment for the balance of the money owed for the kitten is payable on or before pick up via cash or bank deposit. If paying by bank deposit then it must be cleared into our account the day before pick up so you will need to allow at least 3 working days for it to clear. We accept cheque but again the same applies, it will need to be cleared into our account the day before pick up of your new kitten so you would need to allow a minimum of at least 6 working days before the date of pick up.

What does my kitten come with:

When you kitten comes to you, they will be toilet trained, have been regularly wormed, had thier first immunization, sometimes their second depending on their age. They will have been desexed and have a desexing certificate, and have been microchipped into your name. They will also have been treated with revolution. All kittens will come with a health guarantee and a kitten pack including: Blanket that smells like their mum and brothers and sisters to make it easier for their settling in period in their new home, some toys, food for the first couple of days and an information pack full of information about how to look after your new kitten, and a pet pedigree. All the hard work is done for you, so all you will need to do is to take home your new furbaby and enjoy them for many many years to come

                                   FAQ:

Do you freight and what is the cost:

Yes, we do freight our kittens interstate. The costs for freighting your new kitten will be $165 to most main airports and this is including your travel airline approved crate to keep. If you would like to know about what it costs to freight to regional airports, please contact us for a quote and we will be happy to look into it for you.

Are you a registered breeder:

Yes. We are proudly registered with the Cat Authority Victoria and we register every litter that our cats have, so you know that you are purchasing a pure bred pedigree ragdoll kitten/cat. Even though your kittens litter will have been registered, we only supply pet pedigree's unless individual kittens paperwork is requested, but that will be at an extra cost to the purchaser.
